Hmmm......

A friend of mine has asked me to design a website for her so I have been busy thinking of my many options. Quite the conundrum! She raises and sells miniature and medium breed dogs. There is no way anyone can pull up to their place unannounced. They have their own built in security system called "Bark"! These pictures aren't her most recent, but are adorable none-the-less. I am actually more of a cat person, but who could resist this! My friend and I don't see each other as much as we would like because of our busy schedules and our kids busy schedules that we also have to keep up with. We actually are pretty much opposites demographically. As I live in a large city, she lives in the country (out in the middle of nowhere). We are kind of like the story of "The City Mouse and The Country Mouse". Well, I really must get back to my research on her website design.

Rising

Introspection

Witty Words from Wise Women:

Women are smart; women are insightful; women are observant;women are sensitive; and, often, women are very funny!

"If I didn't laugh I'd cry," we are sometimes heard to say. We laugh at the crazy predicament we get ourselves into, and the crazy people in our lives, especially our families. Humor is one of our most valuable assets in life, helping us get through difficult situations without killing ourselves... Or anyone else.

The ability to laugh at ourselves is the best kind of humor. It helps us see things in the proper perspective, and it keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously. "Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can", has more meaning now.

I recently read a statement that fits me;

I'm not offended by all the dumb BLONDE jokes because I know I'm not dumb... And I also know that I'm not blonde.

Happy Friday the 13th, and no, I am not superstitious!

Pictures of a very intense game that Pitt State won by 2 points after 4 overtimes and in 90 degree weather with a sold out game in a crowded stadium. I'm the one behind the red shirt!

Welcome to My World!

Web 2.0 - thefirstpost.co.uk

This reminds me of what it is like at work everyday. It's amazing to me that those who teach our youth today really have little if any technical knowledge. I guess that means JOB SECURITY to me. Salute!!!

I actually had time today to take my kids to the Zoo. It really is quite a spectacular place to spend a gorgeous day. I would have to say that my favorite exhibits are the Tropical Rain Forest and the Gorilla Forest. I think the best part for my boys was when one of the gorilla's decided to create a little ruckus and barreled into the plate glass wall between him and the very captive audience he had. I think it was captured on video, of course I didn't happen to have mine with me (arg!!!). The other favorite of the day for the boys was the snow cones. It doesn't take much to make them happy on a warm day. We have a season pass to the zoo so I'm sure we will be going again soon (will remember vid cam next time).
